Whitney Sweetheart, you are due to be born in five days and your dad and I couldn't be more excited. Today's checkup was a good one but revealed that you would rather stay inside a while. Honestly, I don't blame you--you wouldn't like the crazy 100+ degree heat wave that has started and is predicted to last till your due date, when the temperature is forecasted to be only 99°.
Dad stayed home from work today to hang out with me which was so nice. My days are pretty uneventful lately since our home is ready for you and my to do list has been finished for a while now. So today, your Daddy and I beat the heat with an A&W rootbeer float (Dad's) and rootbeer freeze (Mom's) and went to Negro Bar to cool off and relax together.
