You are 16 months old!

This month you've started dancing a lot more, too. You have a green dog, Scout, that plays songs when you push its feet. You smile and bounce a little bit, swinging your arms. Totally groovin'. It is adorable. Same great dance moves are elicited with the toy electric guitar, one of your current favorite toys. Getting your groove on! Ask Daddy how often in a day I ask him, "Isn't he the cutest little boy you have EVER seen?!" Truly. You are precious!
This month, bath time is a daily favorite--we didn't used to bathe you every day, but now it is hard to keep you out of the tub. You know the magic words, "Levi, do you wanna take a bath?" Your face lights up and you run to the bathroom and try to climb in with your clothes on before we have time to get you undressed.
You also love being outside. Every chance you get! At the mention, you race to the sliding door, waiting for me to let you out. It is a win-win because you and Whitney are so much happier outside and the house stays cleaner! You love to climb the play equipment, ride in the wagon, be pushed in the car or a trike, and play with toys or chalk. Now that you are a sturdy walker, being outside with you and Whitney isn't stressful for Mama at all! I have enjoyed playing/exploring with you and Whitney outside, since the weather has been so amazing.

You love to wear shoes and socks. You love going places in the car. Thank you so much for that! It is incredibly helpful to your Mama!
Last month you started walking and this month you started running! You have me on my toes because you don't really stay by Mommy. You don't hold my hand, either. You run away and hide if you pooped. You can chase Whitney now, too! I'm loving watching you toddling around. You are especially wobbly when you wake up in the morning and at the end of the day before bed.
I mentioned last month that you enjoy helping put away the clean dishes from the dishwasher. That is still one of your favorite things to do. As soon as you hear the dishwasher open (clean or dirty), you come running over to the kitchen! Ready to start grabbing stuff :)
You are officially taking just one nap a day. Usually for one and a half hours. It is great!
One of my memories this month is of taking you to El Dorado Hills Natural Farms to pick strawberries. You probably ate a full basket just while we were picking! The evidence was pretty clear! You love strawberries--it's one of the only fruits you eat lately (blueberries and grapes are the other ones you like).
Some other fun things we did with you this month were visiting the pumpkin patch (it's almost Halloween!) and the Folsom Zoo.
One day, I took you to the Children's Museum by yourself while Whitney was at preschool! You love it there! So many fun things to experience!
Mommy and Daddy love you so much, Son! You are such a precious gift to all of us!
