Belly Shot.36 weeks

Our sweet little girl is growing like a weed!  Lately, as she rolls and stretches, she feels baby-sized.  I can just picture her positions as she wiggles around.  I'm trying to appreciate these last few weeks before her birth while she's all mine, all contained.

I had an ultrasound last week to check for IUGR because the doctor felt that the belly measurements were too short.  Come to find, my doctor was basing her assessment on the wrong week (her notes suggested I was 2 weeks farther along than I actually am).  At today's appointment with the nurse practitioner, I realized the error during our conversation.  So I didn't need that ultrasound, but it was great to see the baby again.  We have more feet pictures!  Once again, she was being shy and wouldn't let us get an undeniable peak at her gender.  But I didn't see anything obviously male...she's got to be a girl.  5 lbs 15 oz according to the ultrasound one week ago.

Mom came over for a few days to hang out with me and sewed a slipcover for the glider/rocker.

All done!  I already love sitting in this chair and rocking my little lady.  I especially love that it has a clean facelift!
Joe and I have accomplished virtually everything we can anticipate needing to get done before Whitney's arrival.  Her carseat has been professionally inspected for proper installation.  Everything is unpacked and in its proper place.  I think all I need to do is finish putting together my hospital bag.
We're ready for you, punkin.  Such anticipation!
