Fall is in the air. I love everything about this season. I love breathing in the fresh, crisp air. I love the changing colors of nature. These are some other things that make me giddy about Fall...

Apples
Candles
Layering clothes
Cinnamon
Pumpkin spice lattes
Pumpkins
Leaves falling. And stepping on them. And raking them up.
Running in the morning, the stillness of the air, the freshness and newness of it.
Baking pies
Oven-roasted root vegetables
Football games

And listening to Christmas music simply because Fall makes me feel like it's nearly that time of year, too :)


Recently I got this idea to make glitter-covered pumpkins, inspired by something I saw on Martha Stewart's website. My sister-in-law Lea and I had such fun one afternoon shopping for the supplies and then being all creative with this amazing Martha Stewart brand glitter. It is the most sparkly kind I've ever seen. We glittered nine fake pumpkins and then I put them together on a plate and it's just so festive! I love the way it turned out! Some decorations are so tacky but I think this is pretty. I want to make more!
